Hi, my name is Kenda and I am the designer behind Mimi + Marge. With a design degree, years in the fashion industry and a subsequent trip around the world, I discovered the traditional techniques of jewellery making in Bali. This would lead to the creation of Mimi + Marge.
Named after my great Aunts, Mimi + Marge has grown since 1997 with new collections every season. I continue to experiment with new and traditional techniques of jewellery making, exploring creative ways to mix hand crafted work with modern design.
There is no larger thrill than to see someone wearing one of my pieces.
I travel to Bali three times a year. It's a place close to my heart. I bring my two daughters with me every year and we all love nothing more than Mie Goreng (fried noodles) and a Bali beach sunset.
